EVE-NG

multi-vendor emulation
start on demand

EVE-NG Community Edition — a multi-vendor network-emulation platform. Runs virtual devices from many vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet and more) in one topology, complementing CML for multi-vendor labs. Runs as VM 106 on Proxmox; normally powered off.

Web UI — http://192.168.10.18 (HTML5 console). Login admin; shared password across CML / EVE-NG / lab devices.
Host — ssh eveng (root, key auth from the Linux server); REST API at /api (cookie-based login).
Topologies are built and run from the browser; console/telnet to nodes is proxied through the EVE-NG host.

Purpose vs CML
CML covers the Cisco-only side with official images; EVE-NG covers multi-vendor scenarios and images CML doesn't ship. The two run side by side on Proxmox and are started individually as needed.
